Election for Mangaluru city’s 25th Mayor, Deputy Mayor to be held on Sept 19

Mangaluru: The election for the 25th term of the Mangaluru City Corporation’s Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and four standing committee members will be held on September 19 at 12 noon. The election will be presided over by the Regional Commissioner of the Mysuru Division.

For the upcoming term, the BJP has nominated Manoj Kumar from Derebail North Ward as the candidate for Mayor, and Bhanumathi P.S. from Bolar Ward as the candidate for Deputy Mayor. This selection was finalized during a meeting held at the BJP’s Dakshina Kannada District Office.
