Los Angeles: Cynthia Erivo, Elton John, Idina Menzel, Chrissy Metz, and Randy Newman are set to perform their Oscar-nominated songs at the 2020 Academy Awards.

John will perform the song “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again” from his biographical drama movie “Rocketman”.

Newman, who is also nominated for the best original score for “Marriage Story”, will perform the track “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away” from the animated feature “Toy Story 4”.

Erivo will sing “Stand Up” from her Harriet Tubman biopic “Harriet”. The actor is also nominated in the best actress category at the Oscars.

Menzel will be joined by singer-songwriter Aurora to perform “Frozen II” track “Into The Unknown”, while Metz will sing “I’m Standing With You” from “Breakthrough”.

The award ceremony will also see an appearance by popular American musician Questlove. Irish composer Eimear Noone would become the first-ever female conductor during an Oscars guest-segment.

“We’re excited to have an incredible group of nominees and performers who will deliver one-of-a-kind music moments you will only see on the Oscars,” show producers Lynette Howell Taylor and Stephanie Allain said in a statement.
