Empty well turns full of water!

Subrahmanya: With the increase in heat during the summer, the ground water in water resources like wells and rivers is depleting. But the well of a resident near the market at Kollamogru, lying on the border region between Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu districts had started filling up with water, much to the surprise of the locals.
This phenomenon has occurred in the well belonging to Honnappa Gowda Kondala. In the morning, when he lowered the vessel to collect water from the well, the water was so little that the vessel itself could not be completely submerged.
As his mother had died, Honnappa went to Taravadu on Sunday morning. After completion of the final rites, he returned back home when he heard sound emanating from the well. Curious, he peeped into the well and was shocked to find the well filled with water.
The well in 12 feet deep and now has water filled to 3 feet. The water level is on the rise. This has caused much surprise to the locals. Several people rushed to this location to witness the phenomenon.
During the last monsoon, there was a major rise in the water levels in this region which also experienced natural calamity.
