Era of transformation has begun: MLA Dr Bharath Shetty

Surathkal: It is a matter of pride that the statue of Shivaji Maharaj, whose bravery and fighting prowess are an inspiration for the younger generation, has been installed in my constituency Kodikere Shivaji Nagar, said MLA Dr Bharath Shetty Y Saturday.

He was speaking after unveiling the Shivaji Statue at Kodikere here installed by Shivaji Friends Circle in collaboration with Mangaluru Urban Development Authority.

Bharath Shetty further said that an era of transformation has begun in the nation. If the youth keep the image of Shivaji in their hearts, Hinduism needs no one else to protect it.

MCC Corporator Varun Chowta, who gave an introductory speech, said that building a statue of Shivaji Maharaj was a long-time dream for the locals. He thanked the MLA for his support for the project.
