Fake note racket rampant in Vittal? : Citizens scared

Vittal: The citizens are complaining that fake notes with the face value of Rs 500 are being spread rampantly here.

Some unidentified persons who visited a poultry outlet located along Mangaluru-Vittal road gave Rs 500 notes to the shopkeeper. Two fake noes were found among them. It is said that the fake note circulators gained information regarding the shop owner not being at the shop and hence attempted to circulate the fake notes. It is learnt that several shops have been given such fake Rs 500 note in the same manner.

The citizens are saying that a major fake note racket is rampant in Vittal and are urging for the implementation of a quick proper action against this.
