Five killed, two injured in road accident

Vijayapur: In a tragic road accident five people were killed and two others were injured on the outskirts of Honaganahalli late at night on Tuesday, November 20.
Reportedly, the lorry carrying daily wage workers rammed into a jeep killing the five present in the jeep, Whereas the lorry driver and cleaner have suffered minor injuries.
It is gathered that people present in the jeep were hailing from Pune and moved here few years ago and were working on contract for the road doubling project between Vijayapura and Bagalkot at National Highway-52.
The identity of the diseased is yet to be known informed sources.
