Former Congress Party Member Joins BJP on Road Side Near Gundlupet in Karnataka

Gundlupet: In surprising incident, former Member of Parliament, Congress Party Member Kagalavadi M Shivanna has joined BJP on a road side on Monday at Shindanapura in Gundlupet of Chamarajanagar district. Karnataka state BJP President BS Yeddyurappa welcomed the leader into his party at the road side itself. Former MP was scheduled to join BJP on Monday at an election campaign programme, however he was joined BJP on the road side in the presence of local BJP leaders and party workers. He contested in Lok Sabha elections as JDS candidate and  elected as member of parliament in 2004. In 2009 he left JDS to join Congress and later in 2017 he again left Congress Party to join BJP.
