Gang robs Rs. 1.93 lakhs from Mescom ATP machine

Mangaluru: Burglars struck at Kotekar office of Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd (Mescom) and made away with Rs 1.93 lakhs after breaking open the lock of Anytime Payment Machine (ATP) located here.

The thieves gained entry into the office by breaking the lock of the shutters sometime after the end of office hours on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Drawers of steel almirahs, tables were all pulled out and files found thrown around the next day.

Ullal police registered a case.
