Gauri Lankesh murder: Naveen refuses Narco Analysis test

Bengaluru: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) who has been probing into the murder case of senior journalist, Gauri Lankesh has faced a major setback after the only accused KT Naveen Kumar refused to undergo narcoanalysis test.

Kumar had earlier agreed to undergo the test and had been taken to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Ahmedabad on April 16 for the same.

Earlier, the third Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court had given the go-ahead for the test after the written consent of Naveen.

However, Kumar claims that he has been forced by the SIT to undergo the test and even threatened to suicide if forced into the test.

KT Naveen Kumar was arrested on February 18 for being an alleged gun-runner in the murder case of journalist Gauri Lankesh last year.
