Get tested for COVID-19 if you had met CM recently: Karnataka govt

Bengaluru: A day after Chief Minister tested positive for coronavirus, the Karnataka government on Monday, August 3 urged people who came in contact with the latter to get themselves tested for COVID-19.
“All those who met Chief Minister in the last 2-3 days will be tested for COVID-19. Chief Minister’s travel history of last one week will be checked,” the state Health Department.
Yediyurappa and his daughter have been admitted to the Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru for observation after testing positive for COVID-19. The CM’s son has been tested negative, while a few staff members working at CM’s home Krishna have tested positive.
