Good rain expected at some places in the state

Manipal: With the weather showing signs conducive for post-monsoon showers, good rains are expected in the hinterlands of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district and in this backdrop, the weather department has announced a Yellow Alert.

Good rain is expected in the inner regions of the south on Oct 3^rd. The weather department has given a warning concerning possible heavy rains in the hinterland of in the south and north from Oct 4^th to Oct 6^th and hence it has given a yellow alert in this concern.

Possible thunderstorm

The weather department has also informed that along with the rain expected in the southern and northern inner regions on Oct 5^th and 6^th, the rain may be accompanied by lightning and thunder.

Possible normal rain along the coast

If good rain is expected in the southern and northern inner regions of the state, possible normal rain may be witnessed along the coast, informed the department.
