Google Meet to add Q&A and Polls features for paid customers

Team Udayavani, Oct 3, 2020, 7:00 PM IST

Google Meet will be rolling out two new features, Q&A and Polls, for its paid customers starting October 8.

Q&A will allow attendees to submit questions that can be answered by hosts and moderators. Participants will also be able to upvote their favourite questions. Polls would help hosts and moderators ask a question and get instant feedback from attendees.

As reported by Engadget, Moderators can create polls that remain viewable only to other mods until they decide to launch them. When a poll is closed, moderators receive the results, which they can share with participants. At the end of the meeting, hosts are automatically sent poll results.

Q&A and Polls will only be available to those with paid accounts, such as G Suite Essentials, G Suite Business, G Suite Enterprise and G Suite Enterprise for Education.
