Govt’s incompetency has left citizens to God’s mercy: DKShi on Sriramulu’s statement

Bengaluru: KPCC president DK Shivakumar said that Health Minister B Sriramulu’s statement “Only God can save us from coronavirus,” shows the poor ability of the Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa’s government to handle the ongoing crisis related to the pandemic.

Taking to Twitter DK Shi wrote, “Why do we need such a govt if they cannot tackle the pandemic? This govt’s incompetency has left citizens to God’s mercy.”

As the state continued to witness a steep rise in COVID-19 cases, Health Minister on Wednesday,July 15 said that only God can save the people of the state from the coronavirus pandemic.

“Only god has to save us from the virus. However, people should be made aware of the infection so that they wear masks and maintain physical distancing,” state health minister B Sriramulu told.
