A live Zoom meeting on Kashmir organised by Pakistan, broadcast on Facebook, was allegedly hacked by a group of Indic social media users who played pro-Hindu and nationalistic songs like Jai “Shri Ram”, causing embarrassment to Pakistani authorities.

The topic of discussion, at the meeting held on Tuesday, was “72 years of Kashmir under Indian occupation” and officials allegedly used the online event to peddle anti-India rhetoric.

Initially, the organizers were confused when the Hindu nationalistic songs began to play during the Zoom meeting, and then they realized that the event had been hacked.

International Human Rights Commission General Secretary Malik Nadeem Abid, who was hosting the meet remarked that he knew pro-Indian accounts would sabotage the event.

A 2.17-minute video of the alleged disruption at the event, posted by a Twitter user has gone viral on social media.
