Ullal: A small scuffle took place between workers of Congress and Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) during polling at the Harekal gram panchayat over allegation of poll code violation.
The SDPI alleged that the Congress-backed candidate’s youth supporter was distributing copies of ballot papers with his election symbol.
A verbal altercation ensued between the workers of both the parties.
One SDPI worker snatched the phone of a Congress worker who was recording the altercation leading to a scuffle between a few and resulting in one worker being hospitalised and police complaint being filed in Konaje police station against three SDPI workers.
