Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Monday, April 20 condemned the mob attack on BBMP and ASHA workers in Padarayanapura
Residents of Padarayanapura on Sunday, April 19 attacked the BBMP and ASHA worker who had gone there to take people to a quarantine facility.
Kumaraswamy took to twitter and wrote, “Mob attack on police, medical workers and BBMP workers who went to take them to quarantine facility is condemnable. Strict legal actions should be taken against those who violated rules.”
“People who do not follow law and order should be severely punished. When people across the world are fighting against COVID-19, some people are misusing religion to block the system,” he wrote in another tweet.
“Strict action should be taken against such people who undermine the moral strength of COVID-19 warriors,” he added.
