Heavy rains predicted; orange alert in DK on June 13,14

Mangaluru: The Disaster Management Authority announced yellow alert on June 11 and 12 and orange alert on June 13 and 14 in the backdrop of heavy rains expected in next 4 days in the district.

As there is rain in the district in the past 3 days, more rain is expected and orange alert has been announced.

The district also informed people to stay alert. People who need help with regard to do any natural disaster can call toll free number 1077.
