
Home quarantined class 10 student commits suicide in Udupi

Udupi: A 15-year-old boy from Manikattu of Saligrama allegedly committing suicide at his residence where he was placed under quarantine.
The deceased has been identified as Karthik, a class 10 student of Vivek Boys High School, Kota.
Reportedly, in the house where Karthik’s mother Rudramma was working as a house help, reported a coronavirus case. Due to these circumstances, Karthik and his mother were placed in-home, quarantine.
It is gathered that Karthik ended up suffering from mental depression and therefore decided to end his life.
His last rites would be performed only after receiving hid COVID test reports.
A case with this regard has been registered with the Kota police.
