Hosapete: Thieves kill 68-year-old woman; flee with valuables

Hosapete: In a shocking incident, a gang of thieves murdered a 68-year-old woman and stole valuables from her house in Ranipete on Friday.

The victims have been identified as Bhuvaneshwari(68). Her sister Shivakka(55) has also been injured in the incident.

It is said that the sisters ran a saree business and were selling sarees from their house, Thieves who entered the house posing as customers attacked the sisters and stole valuables from the house.

Upon entering, the thieves closed the windows and doors of the house, tied their hands and legs, and attacked them.

While Shivakka was severely injured Bhuvaneshwari was killed in the incident.

A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
