Hubballi: Car-bus collision claims two lives, five injured

Hubballi: Two persons were killed on the spot while five others were injured after a speeding bus collided with their car at Siraguppi in Hubballi here.

The accident occurred when the family, residents of Hubballi were headed toward Hampi in their Mahindra car. An oncoming KSRTC Airavat bus, being driven on the wrong side of the road, rammed into their vehicle killing the car driver and his mother on the spot.

The deceased have been identified as Davalbhai Padasal (38) and his mother Sharadaben Padasal. The family, a native of Gujarat, lived in the Dollars Colony on Gokul road.

Five others of the same family sustained injuries in the mishap and have been admitted to KIMS hospital.

A case has been registered in this regard.
