Hassan: Days after giving his first response over the rumour of change of State’s chief minister by stating that he will resign when the high command asks for, Yediyurappa asserted on Friday that he will be the chief minister for the next two years.
Speaking in the city here, he said that Arun Singh, the party’s State in charge, has cleared all confusion regarding the issue.
“I will work beyond my capabilities in the next two years to maintain the trust bestowed on me by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah,” he said.
Arun Singh on Thursday had said that the High Command has no intention of replacing either Chief Minister Yediyurappa or State party chief Nalin Kumar Kateel.
