Decided to resign from Chief Minister’s post two months ago: BSY

Bengaluru: Amid CM change row, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa said that he had decided to resign from the Chief Minister post two months ago and will abide by high command directions.
Speaking to the reporters, BS Yediyurappa said, ” I will abide by the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah (Home Minister), and our national President J P Nadda. However, I have still not received any message from them regarding the resignation.”
He further said, ” I will continue to work towards the betterment of the party. My intention is to strengthen the party in the days to come and bring it back to power. Also, I would not like to recommend anybody for the Chief Minister’s post. It’s the high command’s decision.”
