Illegal cattle trafficking; 4 arrested

Mangaluru: The police arrested 4 persons after they intercepted a lorry illegally transporting 13 cattle on Thursday, August 2nd.
The arrested have been identified as Naeemuddin, Radhakrishnan, Subhash Shetty and Sathish Kumar, travelling in two vehicles. Subhash Shetty and Sathish Kumar were following the Kerala registered truck driven by Nameemuddin with Radhakrishnan, in a car.
On Wednesday midnight, the cops seized both the vehicles while they were plying towards Mangaluru from Udupi. The police also rescued 13 cattle including seven are cows and six are calves.
