Ilyas murder: Three more arrested

Mangaluru: Pandeshwar police here arrested three persons in connection with the brutal murder of Target Ilyas.

The accused have been identified as Dawood (38), Mohammed Nasir (25), and Riyaz (32).

It has been reported that amongst the three accused, Dawood was directly involved in the murder where in Riyaz and Nasir provided shelter to Dawood and other main accused and also helped them financially.

Dawood is an accused in four cases of murder, including that of Ilyas, two murder attempts and five other cases.

Nasir is an accused in an assault case in Manjeshwar police station.

The police earlier arrested Mohammed Sameer, Nameer Hamza in the case.

Target llyas from the Target group was brutally murdered at his residence on January 13.
