IndiGo begins direct flights from Hubballi to Mangaluru

Mangaluru: Travelers from the Hubbali-Dharwad region are now able to take direct commercial flights to Mangaluru as IndiGo has begun direct flights on May 1.

The first direct flight between Hubbali and Mangaluru landed at 6.15 pm on Sunday at Mangaluru International airport.

The airline is going to have 4 days in a week flights ( Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) to Mangalore.

The flight will take off at 5.15 pm from Hubbali and land at 6.15 pm at Mangaluru. The same aircraft will depart for Hubbali at 6.35 pm.

As a mark of respect, the first flight was welcomed with a water cannon salute at the Mangaluru International airport. The passengers were welcomed with flowers at the airport.
