Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday asked, “Is Union Minister Amit Shah that leader sending divorce signals to his coalition partners in Goa, Bihar, North-east states by opposing the multi-party system?”
Siddaramaiah in his series of tweets wrote, “Union Home Minister Amit Shah is addicted to ‘Single’ in everything. After attempts to sideline multilanguage Indian society, he is blaming multi-party system for all the bad things. Someone has to teach political, social and cultural history of India to him. #AntiPluralShah”
“If Amit Shah goes on to attribute corruption, atrocities, border issues, etc to a multi-party system, Is he also criticising Vajpayee govt?” he questioned.
“One man government ruled between 2014-19 and is still continuing. Rafael, GDP growth at 5%, Unemployment at 45 years high, ₹10 lakh Crore NPA, escape of Choksi, terror attacks in Kashmir up by 42%, atrocities on Women up by 22%. Did these not happen during the same term?” he added.
“Is Amit Shah sending divorce signals to his coalition partners in Goa, Bihar, North-east states by opposing the multi-party system? Are the governments in these states not a coalition of multiple parties?” he asked.
