Hubballi: Speaking to the media persons on Monday, veteran journalist Patil Puttappa, said that the centre can resolve the Mahadayi issue easily. Why is it difficult for the PM? He questioned.
He also added that the Mahadayi river water sharing dispute can be put to rest if the Prime Minister Narendra Modi makes up his mind.
Puttappa said that Amit Shah said that he would resolve the Mahadayi dispute if the BJP comes to power in Karnataka. But what if BJP doesn’t come to power? Won’t the centre take any measure to resolve this crisis, he queries.
He also said that he was disappointed that Rahul Gandhi did not address the Mahadayi dispute during his Maharastra- Karnataka tour.
