Bengaluru:  JDS corporator B Bhadre Gowda got elected to post of BBMP Deputy Mayor 

The election for the post of Deputy Mayor was necessitated following the untimely death of former Deputy Mayor Ramila Shankar

Gowda was elected unopposed as the BJP did not file any nomination for the elections held on Wednesady
