Jumbo Rowdy Ranga dies in a road accident

Madikeri: Jumbo ‘Rowdy’ Ranga (38) met with an accident after being hit by a speeding bus this morning. The accident occured near Mathigodu, Anechokur range, Nagahole.
Ranga suffered serious injuries on his hips and legs after the bus hit him while he was on the roadside at the dark. According to forest officials, Ranga was allowed to move freely in the forest areas in the night. Ranga breathed his last hours after the accident took place.
Locals demand that the highway be closed for vehicular passage in the night for free movement of wild animals.
