Actor Vanita Kharat, earlier seen in Kabir Singh, Bollywood movie starring Shahid Kapoor was a part of a calendar shoot based on the theme of body positivity, conceptualized by Abhijit Panse, maker of Thackery.
Vanita received love and applause from the netizens on her picture on Instagram. She captioned, ” I was never hesitant because my thought behind this was clear that the stereotypes and fat-shaming in our society need to be broken.”
Vanita Kharat who was born and raised in Mumbai has been associated with the Marathi film industry. She was also part of a reality show, Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra.
