Kadaba: Elderly woman’s body found floating in river; public help sought for identification

Mangaluru: A body of an elderly woman was found floating in the Kotesaaru river at Kaikamba village of Bilinele gram panchayat of Kadaba Taluk.

The woman, who is yet to be identified is said to be around 65-70 years of age.

The police have sought public help to identify the victim. They added that the woman was wearing a red blouse and white sari and held a pair of spectacles in her hands. The footwear worn by the deceased was found near the body

The dead body has been sent to the mortuary at Deralakatte hospital in Mangaluru as the identity is unknown yet.

Kadaba police have appealed that anyone with any information about the deceased must call Kadaba Police station at 08251-260044.
