Kadaba: A wild elephant ate the sugarcane kept outside a roadside juice shop at Manibhanda on Gundya-Subramanya road here late on Saturday night.
A video of the incident was caught on camera by a passerby and has gone viral on social media.
The tusker was spotted at the juice shop run by Suresh Devupal, a local resident. The video shows the elephant munching on the sugar cane and bagasse kept outside the shop.
However, locals said the elephant did not harm any machinery or the shop premises in any way.
