Kalaburagi: Simi Mariam George becomes first woman SP of district

Kalaburagi: The State government on Monday, August 3 ordered the transfer of district Superintendent of Police Iada Martin Marbaniang and appointed Simi Mariam George in the post making her the first woman SP appointed to the district.

Iada Martin Marbaniang has been to transferred to Karkala, Udupi as the new SP, Anti-Naxal Force.

Simi is currently the Assistant IGP of Bengaluru’s Crime Division.
