Kalaburgi: 6th COVID-19 death

Kalaburgi: Another person has succumbed to COVID-19 here taking the total tally in the district to six.
District’s Deputy Commissioner Sharath B confirmed that a 56-year-old man suffering from respiratory problems died on the night of Saturday, May 2.
On May 1, the man, resident of Putani Galli, had tested positive for the virus. He was admitted to the ESI Hospital here.
The country’s frst COVID-19 death was reported from the district. Till the evening of May 3, 28 people were reported to be COVID-19 positive.
