Kalaburgi: Three people were arrested by the police here for murdering one of their business partners.

Gausuddin (42) was missing since October 24. His dead body was found floating under Kurikota bridge on the Bannetora river.

The police investigation later found out that the last people to have met Gausuddin were his business partners Fayaz, Nizam Bawarsi and Wajid.

On interrogating the three it was revealed that Gausuddin had taken Rs 2 lakhs loan from Fayaz which he delayed in returning.

Incensed Fayaz, on October 24, called Gausuddin and the other two for dining together. Later, the three killed Gausuddin and dumped his dead body into the river.
