Karnataka: 24 sportspersons recruited by SWR

Bengaluru: The South Western infirmed that it has recruited 24 sportspersons to the workforce “during the pandemic year.”

“South Western Railway Sports Association becomes one among of few zonal railways that have successfully completed 24 sports recruitment for the year 2020 – 21 under all categories,” a statement read.

While 15 of them were recruited under Open Advertisement Quota, five others were hired under the Zonal Talent Scouting Quota. Meanwhile, four other sportspersons got placed in SWR in various capacities after being shortlisted under the Railway Board Talent Scouting Quota, officials said.
