Karnataka Cong leaders Siddu, DKShi visit hospital to enquire about Oscar Fernandes’s health

Mangaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, KPCC President DK Shivakumar along with other Congress leaders visited visiting the hospital where the 80-year-old former Union Minister Oscar Fernandes is undergoing treatment after he suffered a fall.
They also met Oscar Fernandes’s wife and spoke to her for a while.
Oscar Fernandes was admitted into a private hospital here after he suffered a head injury due to a fall when practicing Yoga at his home.
Oscar’s wife, son, and daughter along with relatives have stayed back in the hospital to take care of the 80-year-old ailing leader who is in the intensive care unit.
National level leaders of the Congress including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi called Oscar’s family over phone to keep updated about his health condition and wish him well. On Wednesday, July 20 leaders like M B Patil and H K Patil visited the hospital.
Veteran Congress leader B Janardhana Poojary also visited the hospital. Despite his health condition, Poojary went to the hospital in a wheelchair to enquire about the health condition of the senior Congress leader.
