Karnataka floods: Heavy vehicles prohibited in Kodagu till Aug 31

Madikeri: Deputy Commissioner Anees Kanmani Jai issued an order banning the entry of heavy vehicles in Kodagu district till August 31 as heavy rainfall continues in the district.
Previously, all types of vehicles that weigh more than 16,200 kilograms including bullet tankers, containers trucks, multi-axle trucks etc. were banned entry till August 10.
However, as the district continues to experience heavy rains and landslides traffic restriction on heavy vehicles has been extended till August 31.
