Karnataka Govt to Develop Birth Place of Social Reformer Basavanna at Rs 139 Cr: MB Patil

Bengaluru/Kudalasangama: Karnataka state government has decided to develop Kudalasangama, birth place of 12 century social reformer, philosopher and statesman Basavanna to spread his message around the globe, said Karnataka Minister for Water Resources MB Patil on Friday in the state capital. The government has decided to develop Kudalasangama at a cost of Rs 139 and the location would include facilities as developed in Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple in New Delhi.  

The proposed plant is expected to be implemented through Krishna Bhagya Jala Nigam Limited. As per the plans, Kudalasangama will have Basava International Centre, hall,  mini threatre an oriental centre near Chikka Sangama, the minister said.
