Bengaluru: Karnataka High Court has dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) on Monday seeking an order from the court to form two separate special investigation teams (SIT) to investigate MLC Govindaraju diary case and leaked video containing conversation between senior BJP leaders BS Yeddyurappa and Ananth Kumar on the unaccounted money transferred by them to their party high command in New Delhi.
The PIL was submitted by senior journalist Hamid Palya stated that the court should form two separate special investigation teams to investigate the two cases those created sensation in Karnataka and in the country as Karnataka State BJP president BS Yeddyurappa alleged that the diary seized by the officials from income tax department (IT) at the residence of Karnataka Congress MLC Govindaraju contains information on unaccounted money transferred by the state Congress Party leaders to their party high command in New Delhi to retain their positions in the party and cabinet. However, Govindaraju rejected the allegations and said that no such diary was found by IT in his residence during a raid last year.
