Karnataka: Second day liquor sales rises to Rs 197 crores

Bengaluru: The Excise Department of the State has stated that on the second day of the reopening of liquor shops, Rs 197 crore worth of liquor was sold.
This includes 36.37 lakh litres of Indian-made liquor and 7.02 lakh litres of beer sold on Tuesday, May 5.
The nation-wide lockdown was relaxed from May 4 and liquor shops in the State were allowed to be open from 9 am to 7 pm.
