Katpadi: Locals rescue stray dog whose head got stuck in aluminium pot

Katpadi: A dog with its head stuck inside an aluminium pot was rescued by the residents of Udyavar on Saturday, December 12. The incident took place near the house of Ganapati Acharya, who is the priest of Shambushaileshwar Temple, Udyavar.
The poor animal, probably looking for water, had ducked its head in the pot and could not free itself. The scared animal then ran astray for more than an hour.
Rakesh Udyavar, Somanath Udyavar along with Ganapati Acharya and others swung into action and cut the aluminium pot open to set the dog free.
