Kawasaki offers a new silver colour scheme for Ninja 1000

Kawasaki Ninja 1000 has been offered with a new colour scheme called the Metallic Matte Fusion Silver, which is limited to only 60 units for India. The new colour will be available in addition to the existing Candy Lime Green and Metallic Spark Black colours at the same price tag of Rs.10.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Ninja 1000 does not get any other cosmetic or mechanical updates. It gets powered by the 1043cc, in-line four-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 138bhp power at 10,000rpm and 111Nm of torque at 7300rpm. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox which gets assisted by a slip and assist clutch. The bike features dual disc brakes at the front and a single disc brake at the rear while the suspension duties are handled by inverted telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear.
The Ninja 1000 is a sports tourer which holds lots of goodies and some electronic aids including a three-mode Kawasaki Traction Control (KTC) and two switchable power modes. It also gets equipped with KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management Function) and KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System). Other highlight features of the bike include LED headlamps with pilot lamp, dual-channel ABS, detailed display console and so on.
