Kin of police firing victims meet BSY

Mangaluru: The aggrieved family members of the two persons, who were killed in police firing on Thursday, December 19 met Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa at Circuit House here on Saturday, December 21.

They were accompanied by Congress MLA U T Khader, MLC Harish Kumar, former MLAs Mohiuddin Bava, J R Lobo, and Dakshina Kannada Muslim Central Committee president Mohammed Masood.

The CM is likely to take a decision on initiating an inquiry into the police firing incident after meeting with top officials.

Two persons Jaleel (49) and Nausheen (23) were killed in police firing after protests against CAA took a violent turn in the city.
