Karkala: A Innova car used by the accused to murder rowdy-sheeter Kishan Hegde was found abandoned in a suspicious manner near a thicket in Iruvathur.
Four police teams have also been formed to crack the case of the murder, which took place on Thursday, September 24 at Hiriadka. The teams have left for Bengaluru and Mangaluru in an effort to locate the criminals and arrest them.
Kishan Hegde was murdered when he had visited Karkala along with his friends Divyaraj Shetty and Hariprasad Setty on Wednesday.
Reportedly, Manoj and Kishan were friends and differences had arisen between them on financial issues. This may be the reason for the murder.
The police got information that three of those who were involved with this crime had fled towards Dharmasthala, while, three more are in the Karkala region. Divyaraj Shetty has already provided the identities of the accused to the police.
