KMC asst nursing superintendent dies after being hit by auto

Udupi: A woman pedestrian was killed after being hit by an autorickshaw at Ishwara Nagar at Manipal here.

The deceased Margaret Maben (54), a resident of Saralebettu in Manipal was working as assistant nursing superintendent of Kasturba Medical College Hospital.

The accident occurred on Sunday, April 28, when Margaret, who was walking alongside the road bend of Uma Maheshwari temple road was hit by an auto. A grievously injured Margaret was rushed to the hospital where she breathed her last on Monday, April 29.

She is survived by her husband and three children.
