
Kota: 4 riders on a motorbike try to knock down cops; case filed

Kota: In a shocking incident, 4 unidentified individuals on a motorcycle reportedly attempted to knock down the police officers who were conducting an inspection here.
The police personnel narrowly escaped in the incident that took place near Saligrama Ganesh Grand Hotel on May 24 evening.
According to police, a team led by SI Narendra of the Crime Division at Kota Police Station was conducting routine checks on vehicles along the highway. Suddenly, a motorcycle with four riders approached at high speed.
The bike riders disregarded the police instructions to stop the vehicle and tried to knock down the police personnel and sped away from the spot without stopping.
The cops managed to evade the oncoming motorcycle and escaped from being hurt.
A suo moto case has been registered at the Kota police station against the owner of the vehicle (KA 20 V 9992) and a search is ongoing for the culprits, police added.
