Kota Srinivas Poojary requests CM to help Kannadigas in Mumbai

Bengaluru: Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary in a letter to the Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has requested his intervention in protecting Kannadigas residing at Mumbai.

In the letter, Poojary expresses that Kannadigas including those from coastal Karnataka are stranded in Mumbai with their food stocks and money being exhausted.

Poojary states that the State government must set up a helpline for them and inform the local authorities there to get food items and other required provisions to the affected Kannadigas.
