Bengaluru: Minister K S Eshwarappa on Sunday courted controversy once again after stating that the MLAs who win the elections on the base of Muslim votes are transgenders.

Addressing an event organized by Sri Rama Sene to congratulated Central Government and PM Modi for abrogating Article 370 and 35A from Kashmir, Eshwarappa said, “Many Congress and JD(S) MLAs are willing to join BJP, but they are afraid they will lose the Muslim votes. They are Hijadas (transgenders) they don’t belong to BJP. Those backed by Pakistan will not vote for BJP.”

He further added, “Sri Rama Sene is producing brave Hindutva soldiers. The agenda of Hindutva and Nationalism should be spread across the country. It is the fight to protect India. When it comes to Hindutva the whole country should stand united.”
