KSRTC bus hits scooter At Karkala Jarkala junction: Rider dies

Karkala:‎‎ In a collision between a scooter and a bus at the Karkala Jarkala junction, the scooter rider was killed and another was injured.

The accident occurred on May 5, when Mahalinga and his wife Sharada were traveling on a scooter from Yerlapady towards Jrkala. A KSRTC bus moving from Karkala towards Udupi hit the scooter.

As a result, both the riders on the scooter were thrown on the road and were injured. The injured were rushed to the Karkala Government Hospital.

But, Mahalinga was declared brought dead by the doctors.

A case has been registered in the Karkala City Police Station.
